Your primary mission in this role is to empower the internal EAP Operations Control team, Country and Cluster Management, and Air Liquide Headquarters with reliable, high-quality financial investment data and analysis. You will act as a pivotal point of contact to ensure that our financial strategies are data-driven, compliant, and aligned with the company's growth objectives.

The position is a Cluster role which is exposed to various regions/countries within East Asia Pacific where Air Liquide operates. ## How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Regional Portfolio View: Maintain a comprehensive view of investment opportunities, projects currently under execution, and future Profit & Loss (P&L) contributions stemming from project startups and ramp-ups across the EAP cluster.
  • Capital Management: Proactively manage investment budgets (CapEx envelopes), related reporting, and the overall investment process to facilitate timely, judicious choices while upholding internal governance.
  • Tracking & Compliance: Track ongoing Investment Portfolios, CO2 emission variances, and project contributions for regular reporting to Group consolidation tools.
  • Work directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to proactively forecast and anticipate funding requirements on a “needs” basis.
  • Optimize the day-to-day utilization of internal digital finance tools.

Additionally, provide vital transitionary support during the company-wide migration project.

  • Execute the standard CapEx operations and communicate budget utilization for allocated regions, working with local project managers, busines heads and supporting project administration, fixed asset capitalization, driving continuous process improvements to reduce administrative burden, and contributing/leading the Normal cluster memo for the Regional Investment Committee (RIC).
  • Lead the end-to-end special investment process as the Investments business partner for the Business Development team, reviewing business cases and project notes , financial models, and timely approvals, while tracking key milestones (FIP, SUP/RUP), supporting asset capitalization, and leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows.
  • Preparing D&A forecast/status report with commentary and flagging of potential and existing project overruns.
  • Monitor and analyze investment performance against benchmarks and internal targets to explain variances, while supporting strategic target and reforecasting exercises for the Investment Decisions portfolio and its overall P&L contribution.

## Are you a MATCH?

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of financial control, investment accounting or analytical experience, preferably within capital-intensive sectors (e.g., industrial gas, energy, or industrial infrastructure).
  • Possesses basic knowledge in finance, specifically covering P&L up to Operating Income, CapEx, and OpEx terminologies, coupled with hands-on experience using Power BI
  • Proven fluency and advance capabilities in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or its equivalent Microsoft counterparts.
  • Adaptable, autonomous problem-solver with strong numerical proficiency, time management skills, and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven experience navigating stakeholder relationships with a highly collaborative approach and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Clear, concise communicator capable of simplifying complex financial topics, with the ability to be effectively assertive when driving policy outcomes.
