About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for group account consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and supporting subsidiary-related financial matters. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Monthly Consolidation of Accounts

• Prepare monthly consolidation of group accounts and reporting of group financial results.

• Perform analytical reviews of the Company’s and subsidiaries’ financial performance on a monthly basis.

2. Audit & Compliance

• Ensure compliance of financial reports with the latest MFRS requirements.

• Assist in yearly audit activities and liaise with external auditors.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budget and forecast for the Group.

• Liaise with relevant personnel from the Company and subsidiaries.

• Understand the nature of transactions and consolidate Group financial results.

• Analyze variances, monitor performance, and provide explanations on financial movements.

4. Subsidiary Support

• Support and coordinate subsidiary-related financial and accounting matters.

5. Ad-hoc Assignments

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent recognized by MIA, ACCA, or CIMA.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with strong exposure in audit.

• Candidates with experience in a Big 4 audit firm will have an added advantage.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.

• Independent, resourceful, proactive, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
