Job Title: Guest Service Assistant

Location : KLGCC Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara

Job Summary

The Guest Service Assistant supports the daily operations of the convention centre by delivering excellent front-line customer service to guests, event organisers, and visitors. This role ensures a smooth guest experience during events, functions, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist clients with enquiries, event information, and venue guidance
• Ensure all guests receive prompt and efficient service throughout events
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, complaints and feedback promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Security, Technical, Housekeeping) to ensure smooth event execution
• Monitor cleanliness and readiness of front-of-house areas (lobby, halls, registration counters)
• Assist VIP guests and ensure premium service delivery when required
• Report any incidents, issues, or guest feedback to the supervisor
• Support administrative tasks such as documentation, guest records, or reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
• Experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is an added advantage
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Presentable, approachable, and service-oriented
• Able to work long hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays (based on event schedule)
