Role Overview:
The Senior Executive, Digital Transformation & Automation is responsible to identify, develop and implement automation and artificial intelligence solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, and support digital transformation initiatives within the organisation. This role focuses on leveraging technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence, and workflow automation to enhance business processes, system capabilities, and customer experience.
About your role
- Responsible to plan and execute the organisation’s automation and AI strategy aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Support the creation of AI vision & product roadmap for core business functions balancing platform investments and market readiness.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive operational processes across departments.
- Work closely with stakeholders to redesign workflows to maximise automation potential and adoption of AI across core operation.
- Lead the implementation of robotic process automation (RPA), OCR, and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and productivity across all department.
- Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation.
- Lead assessment of external AI solutions with subject matter experts and make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Responsible to oversee the project from initiation, define the project scope, set measurable goals, maintain project schedule / tracker, define clear business objectives and ensure the project team is clear and align with the objectives.
- Requirement gathering and draft business requirement document to allow Vendor/Tech to understand the project deliverables and expectation.
- Closely track and monitor project status, identify potential issues and come out with action plans and solution.
- Update PMO on the overall project health status, any potential project risks, critical issues, and opportunities.
- Responsible to ensure all project opened items are resolved in a timely manner.
- Responsible to document all UAT test coverage, track and monitor all defects raised by testers are attended and resolved prior deployment.
- Active involvement in project meetings, streamline and standardize work processes and contribute in process improvement ideas.
- Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with established processes and work procedures and in compliance with policies and local company legal and statutory requirements.
- Undertake any assigned projects, monitor project performance, resolve any issues and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Support team members in resolving project issues related to implementation solutions including communication with other project members.
- Cooperate with internal and external teams and work with these teams from other service streams to identify cross-functional improvement opportunities.
- Support the implementation of other continuous improvement initiatives if necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field. Professional certification such as PMP would be added advantage.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in implementing automated systems.
- Highly organized individual, detailed oriented and a strong team player.
- Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.
- Great at problem solving, risk management, time management and other project management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
