We're Hiring: AI Engineer!

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing AI models, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis techniques to create intelligent solutions that drive business value.

Role: AI Engineer

• Develop and enhance AI agents and multi-agent workflows using the Google ADK framework.

• Build integrations between AI agents and external systems, including APIs, knowledge bases, booking platforms, and notification services.

• Design, test, and optimize prompts to improve response quality and user outcomes.

• Implement and maintain RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval mechanisms.

• Conduct evaluation and performance testing of AI systems using chatbot and business metrics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to agent behavior, hallucinations, and tool integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support localization and market-specific AI requirements.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Maintain technical documentation, testing results, and implementation artefacts.
  
  

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience working with LLM APIs such as Gemini or OpenAI.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Prompt Engineering

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Vector Databases

  • REST APIs

  • Git

  • JSON/YAML

  • Pytest
    
    

• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google AI Development Kit (ADK).
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of experience building or integrating conversational AI, chatbots, or LLM-based applications.

• Hands-on experience with the Google Cloud AI ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)

  • Transformer architectures

  • Tokenization and context management

  • Prompt optimization techniques
    
    

• Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, including multi-agent workflows, ReAct, planning agents, and reflection loops.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, and AI governance principles.
  
  

• Experience building production-grade chatbot platforms.

• Exposure to multilingual AI implementations.

• Knowledge of evaluation frameworks, observability, and AI monitoring.

• Experience supporting AI solutions across multiple markets or large-scale enterprise environments.
