ABOUT VERDAS AI MALAYSIA

Verdas AI Malaysia is the Southeast Asian arm of Verdas AI, an AI ethics and governance consultancy headquartered in Bavaria, Germany. We work with organizations across Europe and Asia to embed responsible AI practices through certification programs, training, and strategic advisory. As part of the Verdas Ventures network, we are building a high-performing sales function - and we are looking for a driven sales professional to be at the heart of it.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a B2B Sales Executive who is comfortable picking up the phone, opening doors, and driving the full sales cycle from cold outreach to close. You will work across a defined target market, reaching decision-makers in organizations where our training, certification, and advisory offerings can deliver real value.

This is a results-oriented role for someone who enjoys the chase, knows how to have a compelling conversation, and takes pride in converting cold contacts into warm relationships and closed deals. You will be given structured lead lists and the tools to succeed - the rest is down to you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Execute high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn targeting B2B prospects across defined verticals and geographies
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against agreed criteria and move them efficiently through the sales pipeline
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, position our solutions compellingly, and progress opportunities to proposal stage
  • Manage your pipeline in the CRM with accurate, up-to-date activity and opportunity records
  • Collaborate with the Sales Research Associate to prioritize and refine lead lists based on what is converting
  • Handle objections confidently and professionally, adapting your approach across different cultural and business contexts
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly outreach targets, call volume, and pipeline contribution metrics
  • Provide market feedback to the broader team - you are on the front line, and your insights matter

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1–3 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience, with a demonstrable track record of hitting targets
  • Comfortable and confident on cold calls - you do not wait to be handed warm leads
  • Professional proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken - this is a firm requirement given our European client base
  • Bahasa Malaysia at a conversational or professional level is a valuable plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills: you build rapport quickly, listen well, and communicate clearly across cultures
  • Organized and self-disciplined - you manage your own activity, update records without being reminded, and work to deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and outreach platforms
  • Experience in professional services, technology, training, or certification markets is an advantage but not essential

COMPENSATION (INDICATIVE RANGE)

Base Salary (Monthly)

MYR 4,000 – 8,000 (based on proven experience)

Commission

Uncapped; structured on closed revenue - OTE MYR 90,000 – 130,000 annually

Performance Bonus

Discretionary quarterly bonus for consistent target achievement

Benefits

Statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO) + communication allowance

Work Model

Full-time; remote or hybrid within Malaysia

Candidates with verified German-language sales experience or a demonstrated enterprise network may be considered at the upper end of the base range. OTE figures assume on-target performance.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
