Job Description

support the execution of the BNM Thematic Review on revision of instalment amounts for floating-rate housing loans/home financing, focusing on manual recalculation, validation, and operational processing of affected customer accounts. The role is structured to provide dedicated operational support for this regulatory-driven exercise while ensuring minimal disruption to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Account Review & Data Preparation
• Retrieve and compile relevant customer account information from internal systems
• Validate completeness and accuracy of data required for recalculation
• Organise documentation for each assigned case 2. Instalment Recalculation (Core Task)
• Perform manual recalculation of instalment amounts based on revised parameters and guidelines
• Apply correct financial formulas and internal policy requirements
• Ensure each calculation is accurate, consistent, and auditable 3. Quality Assurance & Validation
• Cross-check recalculation outputs before submission
• Identify discrepancies, exceptions, or anomalies
• Escalate complex cases to senior staff for review 4. Case Tracking & Reporting
• Maintain proper tracking of assigned accounts and progress status
• Update internal trackers and dashboards on completion status
• Support preparation of progress reports for management and stakeholders 5. Documentation & Audit Compliance
• Ensure all workings, assumptions, and outcomes are properly documented
• Maintain clear audit trails to meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
• Support any audit or review queries related to processed cases 6. Stakeholder & Team Support
• Work closely with assigned supervisors and SMEs for guidance
• Support coordination between teams where required
• Assist in ensuring smooth workflow and turnaround time
