Our Client is a leading multinational company within the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team in Selangor. Following a recent acquisition, the organization is entering a significant growth phase and is looking for a strategic finance leader to oversee the finance function, drive integration efforts, and partner closely with the business to support its continued expansion.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, compliance, and internal controls.
• Drive post-acquisition integration activities and ensure alignment across finance operations.
• Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regional stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a lean finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support investment decisions, business cases, and long-term growth strategies.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Must be a Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or similar senior finance leadership role.
• Strong experience within industrial manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, or a related environment.
• Experience in mergers & acquisitions, business integration, or transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
