Role Description

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on business and technical requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.

• Document, analyse, and report test results to the Team Lead and client stakeholders.

• Work closely with technical teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system issues.

• Support and monitor the defect lifecycle, including validation, assignment, user clarification, and verification of fixes.

• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of various testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), migration testing, and pre-production testing, while preparing test status reports, test closure reports, and other relevant test documentation as required.

• Contribute to user-facing documentation such as help guides, user manuals, and quick reference materials.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Identify potential project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and communicate promptly with the Team Lead.

• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Continuously evaluate testing tools, methodologies, and best practices; suggest improvements to enhance testing efficiency and quality.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels to ensure alignment and clarity on testing

activities.

• Support multiple testing initiatives concurrently.

• Actively use the Appfuxion AGIS AI platform in daily work and project tasks and support team adoption to improve productivity and efficiency.

• Maintain an open mindset toward automation testing and demonstrate willingness to learn, adopt, and expand automation and AI skills.

• Adhere to all company policies, including punctuality, attendance, onsite work requirements, and acceptance of project assignments aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Software testing or related roles, preferably within the Banking or financial services domain.

• Testing Expertise: Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks, with experience in manual testing, including test execution, defect reporting, progress tracking, and validation of fixes.

• Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is preferred.

• Automation Knowledge: Exposure to automation testing, with basic hands-on experience in tools such as UFT, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and report software issues collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.

• Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Open to adopting new testing tools, automation approaches, and AI-driven solutions, such as Appfuxion AGIS.
