Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a Programmer to support and maintain critical hospital systems including Laboratory Information System (LIS), Operating Theatre Management System (OTMS), and Central Sterile Supply Services Information System (CenSSIS). This role combines application support, troubleshooting, and minor development/enhancement tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for hospital applications (LIS, OTMS, CenSSIS)
- Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues
- Perform bug fixing, minor enhancements, and scripting
- Work with database queries and data validation
- Support system integration (e.g., SSO, analyzers, other hospital systems)
- Liaise with users (lab staff, doctors, admin) to resolve issues
- Ensure system uptime and performance
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in application support or programming
- Knowledge in SQL (preferably MySQL / Oracle)
- Familiar with Linux or Windows server environment
- Basic programming/scripting skills (Java, PHP, or similar)
- Experience in healthcare systems is an added advantage
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with Oracle MySQL Enterprise Edition
- Experience with Oracle GlassFish Server
- Understanding of system integration and APIs
Soft Skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work onsite and handle user requests
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
