Hiring: Senior SAP Testing Consultant

Location: Remote (Malaysia Time Zone)

️ Travel: Business Trips to Kuala Lumpur (as required during key project phases)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Testing Consultant to support a large-scale SAP implementation program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP testing methodologies, test management, defect management, and end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple SAP modules.

This role will work closely with business users, functional consultants, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery and high-quality implementation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the overall SAP testing strategy for implementation projects.

Prepare and manage:

• Test Plans
• Test Scenarios
• Test Cases
• Test Scripts
• Test Data

Coordinate and support:

• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Regression Testing
• End-to-End Business Process Testing

Collaborate with SAP functional teams to validate business requirements and process flows.

Manage defect tracking, triage sessions, prioritization, and resolution follow-ups.

Ensure test coverage across SAP modules and integrated systems.

Prepare testing status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.

Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

Drive testing best practices, quality assurance standards, and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

️ 8+ years of SAP testing experience.

️ Strong experience in at least one or more SAP implementation projects.

️ Hands-on experience with:

• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP ECC
• End-to-End Business Process Testing

️ Experience managing SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing cycles.

️ Strong knowledge of defect management and test lifecycle management.

️ Experience with test management tools such as:

• SAP Solution Manager
• JIRA
• HP ALM / Quality Center
• Azure DevOps (preferred)

️ Ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

️ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

️ Experience working in distributed and global project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA implementation programs.

Exposure to SAP automation testing tools and frameworks.

Experience working with offshore and regional delivery teams.

Knowledge of SAP integration testing involving third-party applications.
