Full Time Maintenance Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,500 in Mahkota Medical Centre Melaka - Maukerja

Job Summary

• Oversee and supervise M&E equipment (installation and repairs that are safe and adequate) in the hospital by the in house technician and extra control
• Perform routine maintenance and specialized operations related task in order to provide optimum supporting role to other departments so that there is minimal disruption to other departments’ operation.

Key Task

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including AHU, FCU, chillers, cooling towers, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Monitor and troubleshoot temperature, humidity, airflow, and mechanical system performance.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, water piping, valves, pumps, water tanks, and booster pumps.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on drainage, sanitary, and sewerage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Complete maintenance records, reports, and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience (preferably healthcare industry)
• Experience in HVAC system (MSQH/JCI), general maintenance and plumbing maintenance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Familiar with hospital mechanical systems, including critical areas such as Operating Theatres (OT), Isolation Rooms, ICU, Pharmacy, and Medical Gas support systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, water supply, drainage systems, pumps, and piping works.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
