  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant working experience. 
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, network administration, or related IT functions. 
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. 
  • Service-oriented, responsive, and able to support users across different operational environments. 
  • Organized and able to manage multiple support requests and priorities effectively. 
  • Willing to travel regularly and spend significant time at plantation sites (Lojing Highland, Kelantan) as required.

Tanggungjawab

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Specialist to support the company's IT operations, with a primary focus on the Plantation division. The role requires regular presence at plantation sites to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and ensure the smooth operation of business systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, resourceful, and capable of supporting end users while maintaining a stable and secure IT environment. 

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to users across plantation and corporate operations. 
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, network devices, and other ICT equipment. 
  • Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers, network infrastructure, and backup systems to ensure minimal downtime. 
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for IT equipment and infrastructure. 
  • Assist users with email accounts, Active Directory accounts, system access requests, and application-related issues. 
  • Monitor and escalate cybersecurity incidents, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities to the Head of IT. 
  • Ensure compliance with Company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and other applicable internal policies. 
  • Assist in system implementation, upgrades, migrations, testing, and post-implementation support as assigned. 
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, equipment movement, and disposal activities. 
  • Maintain and update IT-related documentation, procedures, and inventory records. 
  • Ensure all incidents, service requests, and support activities are properly recorded in the IT helpdesk system. 
  • Monitor recurring IT issues and recommend practical improvements to enhance system reliability and user experience. 
  • Communicate support status, technical issues, and work progress to the Senior IT Manager / Head of IT in a timely manner. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and support when required. 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
