With a mission to supercharge future culture phygitally, Mighty Jaxx’s integrated platform will empower future pop culture brands with an end-to-end supply chain of digital and phygital collectibles, including artist development and incubation, proprietary IP operation and providing global consumers access to new D2C experiences.

Mighty Jaxx partners with the greatest creative talents in the world, as well as top global brands such as Netflix, Formula 1, Hasbro, Toei Animation, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, Adidas and many more to ship millions of phygital collectibles to over 90 countries worldwide.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer with a diverse, inclusive work environment and encourage our employees to bring their authentic, fun-loving, and high-energy selves to the workplace.

Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is looking for an experienced freelance 3D Artist to design, model, and render 3D assets for our toys and collectibles products. You will work directly with the 3D Art manager, receiving briefs and working on feedback to bring our collectible toy concepts from initial sketches to final production-ready assets. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring our products' artistic quality and appeal.

We are looking for someone comfortable working on a short-term freelance basis.

Responsibilities

3D Modelling & Rendering

  • Create detailed 3D models of licensed collectible toys using digital sculpting tools (e.g., ZBrush & Keyshot) based on concept art and references provided.
  • Apply textures, materials, and shaders to models to achieve high-quality, realistic renders for marketing, packaging, and production references.
  • Ensure that all 3D models are production-ready, optimised for 3D printing or mould creation.
  • Deliver assets on time, meeting agreed sculpt milestones and revision rounds.

Feedback & Revisions

  • Receive and incorporate feedback from the 3D Art manager, refining models through revision rounds until final approval.
  • Communicate proactively on progress, flagging any blockers or scope concerns ahead of deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of quality in all deliverables, ensuring models align with design specifications before sign-off.

Requirements

  • Prior experience preferred in 3D modelling, preferably in the toy, collectibles, or entertainment industry.
  • Proficient in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., ZBrush and Keyshot). Experience with rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Arnold) and texturing software (e.g., Substance Painter) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion. Ability to create both stylised and realistic models.
  • Keen eye for detail and precision, ensuring that models are of the highest quality.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, injection moulding, or other production techniques relevant to the toy industry would be a bonus.
  • Able to work independently, manage your own time, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
