Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team focused on ensuring health, safety, and environmental excellence within the workplace. This role entails leading the development and implementation of comprehensive safety systems to uphold rigorous industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Fire Safety management systems to prevent workplace incidents.
• Conduct site safety inspections and collaborate with contractors and authorities to ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
• Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the management of risk assessments and safe work procedures, ensuring operational effectiveness through regular audits.
• Implement training programs to address HSE needs and maintain employee certifications and records.
• Facilitate the development and execution of the Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan for plant operations.
• Maintain compliance with hazardous substance permit requirements and oversee regular audits.
• Prepare and analyze reports for management, ensuring accurate documentation and record maintenance.
• Assist in budgeting and operational planning for HSE equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate fire safety initiatives and ensure effective emergency response protocols are established.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) or equivalent.
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) or related certification.
• Registration as a Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer.
• Registration as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
• WSQ Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Security.
• At least 5 years of experience in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or Security within process or power generation facilities.
