Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Assistant role based in Pahang, Malaysia. The Retail Assistant supports daily store operations, including greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable Apple products and accessories. The role involves demonstrating product features, ensuring displays are clean and well-organized, and maintaining adequate stock levels on the sales floor. The Retail Assistant handles basic troubleshooting inquiries, guides customers on after-sales services, and processes transactions accurately at the point of sale. The role also includes collaborating with team members to meet sales targets, uphold visual merchandising standards, and deliver a consistent, positive customer experience aligned with the Machines brand.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with the ability to engage diverse customers respectfully and professionally.
- Effective Communication skills, both spoken and written, for clear product explanations and team collaboration.
- Proven aptitude or interest in Retail Sales and Sales, including upselling and cross-selling in a structured retail environment.
- Interest in and basic knowledge of Apple products and technology, with willingness to learn and stay updated on new releases and features.
- Ability to work on a retail schedule, including weekends and public holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support.
- Previous experience in consumer electronics, technology, or retail is an advantage, but candidates with strong motivation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
