Oracle Database Administrator (Permanent)

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia (On-Site)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Cyberjaya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments.
• Monitor database performance and perform tuning to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and support database replication solutions.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.
• Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations when required.
• Support high-availability and mission-critical production environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth database operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Mandatory Oracle Certification (OCA, OCP, or equivalent Oracle certification).
• Strong experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with database replication technologies.
• Knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
