Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Plan the concept by studying the information and materials given by the colleagues and clients.
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Determine size and arrangement of the copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues, briefing and advising them with regards to design style, format, print production and timescales.
- Manage client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
- Prepare rough drafts of material based on the agreed brief.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Liaise with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Able to work long hours whenever required (i.e. undertake any urgent or time sensitive projects assigned by the company) as part of a self-motivated initiative.
- Able to do video edits as and when required with Adobe softwares.
