Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Video Editor Intern located in Petaling Jaya. The intern will support the creation, editing, and optimization of video content for marketing, training, and corporate communication, using Adobe tools (such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop) and AI-assisted video or design tools. Daily tasks include cutting and assembling footage, adding effects, graphics, captions, and sound, and adapting content for multiple platforms (e.g., social media, web, presentations). The intern will collaborate with the marketing and consulting teams to understand content objectives, contribute creative ideas for storyboards and visual styles, and ensure brand consistency across all videos. The role may also involve basic motion graphics, asset organization, and assisting in video shoots or screen recordings as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools relevant to video (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) for editing, graphics, and basic motion design.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools for video editing, image enhancement, captioning, or content generation, and willingness to explore new creative technologies.
• Strong foundational skills in video production, including storytelling, timing, pacing, sound selection, and visual composition.
• Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and how to tailor video content for each channel.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Film, Multimedia, Communication, Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and a growth mindset.
• Portfolio, showreel, or sample work demonstrating video editing skills is strongly preferred.
