Job Target

• SMT technician, or surface-mount technology technician, build and perform maintenance on electronic or mechanical equipment. They may assemble, test, and troubleshoot equipment using a variety of tools and methods

Job Description

• Work in the SMT Department understanding equipment operations
• Able to program universal machines, screen printers, SPI, reflow ovens, AOI and selective soldering.
• Troubleshooting of equipment.
• 1st level support for PCBA production
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of electronic circuit board manufacturing equipment and systems
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to assist in troubleshooting and to procure replacement parts
• Analyse data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues
• Performs other duties as assigned or required
• Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 year (s) of working experience in the related field/ fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Technical knowledge and experience with electronic products and processes along product lifecycle, experience with electronic industry manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good verbal and inter communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work under time pressure
• Self-discipline
• Able to attend Recovery / Overtime on non-working days.
• Knowledge of ISO is preferable.
• Experience in using Precision Machining Process and Continous improvement process.
• Experience with manufacturing environment Higher Level Assembly (HLA).
• Experience in Quality report and Presentation material format.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
