Job Summary

Sunway Malls (Wangsa Mall) is looking for someone who is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns and events to drive mall traffic, brand awareness, and tenant engagement, while managing sponsorships, promotional spaces, tenant relations, and performance analysis to support overall mall growth and compliance.

Job Description

1. Responsible for developing and executing marketing campaign and events to increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain existing ones, including sourcing and organizing events, contests, or campaigns.

2. Explores new event opportunities and potential partnerships to enhance mall activities.

3. Seeks sponsorship.

4. Handle rental of promotion spaces. Manage income and expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.

5. Manages tenant relations by maintaining regular communication, understanding their marketing needs, and supporting their promotional initiatives.

6. Ensures all promotional proposals and contracts adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

7. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organizational standards and legal regulations.

8. Reviews and analyses weekly mall footfall data, as well as customer, redemption data.

9. Performs other duties as assigned to support the company’s objectives.

10. To comply with PDPA and Sunway Compliance Manual.

11. To ensure that Personal Data is not disclosed to any unauthorized 3rd party without obtaining clearance from the Information Manager or the PDP Officer.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma or Professional Certificate Marketing or equivalent.
• Fresh grad to 2 years of Marketing/Retail/Event Experience.
• Demonstrate competency in marketing & events, identify opportunities and new partnerships.
• Passionate towards materializing events and campaigns.
• Interest in networking and growing clientele database across industries.
• Has understanding of mall landscape and interest to grow in the mall industry.
• Having prior experience in Mall Marketing Management would be an advantage.
