About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join the procurement team at KETECH ASIA SDN. BHD. in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our supply chain and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing prices comparisons

2. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery times, and other contract terms

3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement activities

4. Coordinate with internal department and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement process

5. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

6. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials

7. Provide administrative support to the Procurement team as required.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in procurement, supply chain management, business administration or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years experience in a procurement, purchasing or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

3. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data management

5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

6. Knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing procedures and inventory management practices

7. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

8. Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
