The Software Application Development Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, documentation, maintenance, and operational support of software solutions and related services. The role includes developing software architecture, modules, services, APIs, interfaces, and integration mechanisms while ensuring the solution supports scalability, maintainability, and extensibility. The engineer will support Agile and DevOps delivery practices including sprint activities, continuous integration and deployment, configuration management, defect tracking, testing, and release management. The role also involves participation in system integration, operationalisation, testing, deployment, cybersecurity implementation, documentation, knowledge transfer, training support, and ongoing maintenance activities, while ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and project delivery obligations.

Preferred Technical Skills

Preferred experience or familiarity with:

• Software application development and system integration

• API and interface development

• Agile and DevOps delivery practices

• CI/CD, configuration management, and release management

• Testing, defect management, and deployment support

• Cybersecurity implementation and compliance support

• Technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities
