Software Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) – Role Description & Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) to join our technology team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The Software Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) will work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to develop scalable applications, improve system performance, and support business objectives through technology. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or similar.
• Understanding of software development principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL concepts.
• Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship experience, academic projects, open-source contributions, freelance development, or related technical experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks, cloud platforms, APIs, DevOps concepts, and software testing methodologies is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other modern software development practices is a plus.
• Experience with front-end, back-end, mobile, or full-stack development is desirable.
