Job Purpose
The Export Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, preparing export documentation, and liaising with customers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor export shipments from order receipt until final delivery.
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders.
- Ensure shipments are delivered according to customer requirements and schedules.
- Track shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and verify export documents, including: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin, Export Permits, and Licenses
- Ensure all export documents are accurate and comply with destination country requirements.
- Liaise with customers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Resolve shipment-related issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and provide necessary documentation.
- Keep updated on export regulations and shipping requirements.
- Work closely with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment planning.
- Coordinate inventory availability and shipment readiness.
- Maintain accurate export records and filing systems.
- Prepare export reports and shipment summaries.
- Monitor shipping costs and assist in cost control initiatives.
- Maintain records for audits and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in export, logistics, or shipping coordination.
- Knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

- Problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
