Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design/Project Engineer to lead electrical projects from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality design, programming, coordination, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage electrical projects by developing detailed specifications, schedules, and budgets to meet client requirements
• Design control panels and produce comprehensive design drawings to support project execution
• Program PLCs using Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and other platforms to automate electrical systems
• Develop and implement HMI programming to enhance system user interfaces and operational control
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive project success and timely delivery
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical electrical issues to maintain project quality and performance
• Prepare and present clear project reports and documentation to stakeholders

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD and ETAP
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
• Proficiency in PLC programming using Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Good knowledge of HMI programming

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical design and project management
• PMP certification (preferred but not essential)
