IT Asset Management (ITSM) support engineer.

Experience - 1 yr

Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, printers, and software licenses.
Ensure all assets are properly assigned, tracked, and recorded within the asset management system.
Maintain up-to-date asset records, including serial numbers, asset tags, locations, and user assignments.
Conduct periodic asset audits, stock verification, and inventory reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source hardware and software while ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Prepare and configure devices, including operating system installation, software deployment, and security policy implementation.
Deploy IT equipment to end users and perform asset tagging with proper documentation.
Monitor asset health, performance, and warranty status, and coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and replacements as required.
Plan and manage hardware refresh cycles and technology upgrades to maintain operational efficiency.
Maintain complete documentation for asset deployment, movement, transfer, return, and disposal activities.
Ensure secure data sanitization and wiping of devices prior to disposal in accordance with company security policies.
Maintain disposal records and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Generate asset utilization, inventory, and lifecycle reports for management review and decision-making.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate asset records and documentation.
