The Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Regional Full Stack Developer to take ownership of our Business Information Technology portfolio. You will manage the technical health of 20+ applications across regional e-commerce stores (Shopify), corporate intranets (WordPress), and a suite of custom internal tools built in PHP.

This role suits someone who can balance big-picture technical thinking with hands-on problem solving, and who is curious about how emerging tools, including AI, can make business operations faster and smarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Shopify & CMS: Manage and customise Shopify storefronts and WordPress sites across regional markets, including theme modifications, payment integrations, plugins, and technical upkeep.
• Custom PHP Development: Build and maintain internal PHP applications supporting business functions such as Appraisal, Finance, Inventory, HR, and Claims.
• Integrations & Automation: Connect systems and automate recurring workflows using REST APIs and scripting to reduce manual work where it makes sense.
• Infrastructure: Manage Linux-based hosting environments (basic setups) and maintain SSO integrations for internal user access.
• Technical Support: Be the go-to person for debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across platforms and third-party vendors.
• Collaboration: Work with regional leads and co-founders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of full stack development experience.
• Languages: PHP for custom application development, JavaScript (jQuery), HTML/CSS, REST API, and SQL.
• Platforms: Shopify (Liquid, AJAX API, metafields) and WordPress (plugins, themes, WooCommerce).
• Systems: Linux-based hosting and familiarity with SSO or authentication workflows.
• Tools: Google Analytics, GTM, and a project management tool such as Asana or Microsoft Teams.
