This is a full-time, on-site IT Desktop Support role based in Bandar Sunway. The role involves providing first- and second-level support for end users, including installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals. The position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, as well as escalating complex incidents to relevant teams when necessary. Daily tasks include managing user accounts, supporting standard business applications, performing routine system checks, and ensuring endpoints comply with security standards. The role also includes documenting incidents and solutions, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, and delivering clear, customer-focused communication to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond promptly to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.

· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktop and laptop computers.

· Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security tools.

· Set up and maintain user accounts, profiles, and access permissions in accordance with company policies.

· Assist in the deployment and replacement of equipment (PCs, monitors, printers, etc.).

· Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems (Windows).

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
