Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality software solutions using Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement REST Web Services that enhance system functionality.
• Utilize Core Java and J2EE to build scalable and efficient applications that support business operations.
• Implement front-end features using JavaScript to improve user experience and interface design.
• Integrate Oracle databases to ensure data integrity and optimize application performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications to resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.
• Document software designs and technical specifications for future reference and development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new software features.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all software development activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Diagnose and resolve software application malfunctions, bugs, and performance issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications, including updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Provide technical assistance to users, create knowledge base articles, and maintain documentation for operational procedures.
• Monitor system performance to ensure maximum uptime, stability, and security.
• Manage incidents, classify change requests, and coordinate with vendors or development teams for resolutions.
• Collaborate with business teams to validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios for new features or changes.
• Previous experience in application support, system administration, or production support roles.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication skills for stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Requirements

• Possess strong expertise in Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot for developing robust applications.
• Experience in ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Have extensive experience with Oracle, SQL and Sybase databases for data management and optimization.
• Exhibit understanding of REST Web Services for seamless integration and communication.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain to align software solutions with industry needs.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with effective communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
