Position: Offshore Structural Engineer

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Duration: 6 Months Renewable contract

A leading engineering and energy company is seeking Offshore Structural Engineers to support multiple offshore oil & gas projects across FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC phases.

The consultants will join multidisciplinary engineering teams working on offshore facilities, including fixed platforms, jackets, topsides, modules, FPSOs and brownfield modifications. The environment is highly technical and project-driven, requiring strong structural engineering expertise and offshore project exposure.

Project roles and responsibilities

· Perform offshore structural engineering analyses and calculations for jackets, topsides, modules and associated offshore facilities.

· Execute structural assessments including in-place, transportation, lifting, loadout, fatigue and structural integrity analyses.

· Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports and structural deliverables.

· Support FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC project execution activities.

· Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical alignment and project delivery.

· Participate in design reviews, technical discussions and engineering problem-solving activities.

· Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements and relevant offshore engineering standards.

· Support fabrication, installation and brownfield modification activities where required.

· Deliver high-quality offshore structural engineering support across ongoing project portfolios.

· Ensure compliance with project specifications, international engineering standards and client requirements.

· Support safe, reliable and efficient design solutions for offshore facilities.

· Contribute to the successful execution of FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC activities within project timelines.
