About the role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join Kumpulan Agresif Sdn Bhd in our Puchong, Selangor office. This is a full-time position that bridges the gap between our technical capabilities and client needs. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying business opportunities, understanding complex client requirements, and providing technical solutions that drive revenue growth. This position is instrumental in building long-term client relationships and ensuring our products and services are aligned with market demands. You will work on-site in Puchong, Selangor, collaborating closely with both our technical and sales teams to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new sales opportunities by understanding client technical requirements and presenting tailored solutions
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective and existing clients, translating complex technical features into business benefits
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary technical point of contact for ongoing support and upselling opportunities
Collaborate with the internal technical team to develop customised solutions that meet specific client needs and project specifications
Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and documentation that clearly outline product specifications, implementation timelines, and pricing
Support the sales process from initial enquiry through contract negotiation and project commencement
Gather market feedback and client insights to inform product development and competitive positioning strategies
Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators while maintaining professionalism and client satisfaction standards
Provide post-sale technical support and training to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction
Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to maintain competitive advantage
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Consultant, or similar role within the sales or technology sector
Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex product specifications and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients at all levels
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools for managing leads, opportunities, and client information
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify creative solutions to client challenges
Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in preparing proposals and managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Willingness to undertake regular client visits and occasional travel as required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related discipline is preferred
Knowledge of local market dynamics and established networks within the industry would be advantageous
