Job Summary

Join Trevo as a Support Engineer to deliver first-level technical support for hotel kiosk and self check-in systems, resolving issues remotely and onsite to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for kiosk and self check-in systems deployed at hotels to ensure continuous operation
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues to restore functionality promptly
  • Perform remote diagnostics and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime
  • Attend onsite support and maintenance visits to address complex or hardware-related issues
  • Monitor support tickets and follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction
  • Escalate complex technical issues to specialized internal teams for advanced troubleshooting
  • Assist in kiosk setup, deployment, testing, and configuration to ensure proper system operation
  • Coordinate with hotel operations, IT teams, and vendors during troubleshooting to facilitate effective issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and support activities for knowledge sharing and audit purposes
  • Communicate professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction and clear understanding of support processes

Required competencies and certifications

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and Windows systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills applied to technical support scenarios
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to travel onsite to hotels as required for support and maintenance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience supporting kiosks or hotel technology solutions
  • Basic understanding of hotel systems or Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Familiarity with remote support tools for efficient issue diagnosis and resolution
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts including IP, router, Wi-Fi, and VLAN
