Electronic Trading Support Engineer - Singapore - Tier-1 - Hedge Fund

My client is a leading global hedge fund, seeking an Electronic Trading Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for its electronic trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor trading applications and workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues across order flow, market data, and connectivity.
• Analyse logs and perform root-cause investigations.
• Read, understand, and debug Python scripts.
• Partner with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues quickly.

Requirements

• Experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Trading Support.
• Strong Python knowledge with the ability to debug existing code.
• Linux/Unix and SQL experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial markets or electronic trading environments is advantageous.
