About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Web) to support the development of robust Weather Information Dissemination systems. You will work closely with agencies and stakeholders to design, build, and enhance scalable web applications while driving engineering best practices and system resiliency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.

Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve development efficiency and platform reliability.

Assess existing technical environments and recommend improvements.

Support the adoption of engineering practices such as CI/CD and SRE.

Design and validate solutions through Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives.

Create technical documentation, workflows, and architecture diagrams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Support solution implementation and knowledge-sharing activities across teams.

Requirements

6+ years of software engineering experience in an individual contributor role.

Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.

Experience building scalable and responsive web applications.

Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise solutions.

Preferred Skills

Experience with NodeJS.

Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of CI/CD, SRE, and DevOps practices.

Experience working in highly secured or air-gapped environments.

Experience in banking, government, or regulated industries.

Pay: $3,467.86 - $6,200.00 per month
