Project Engineer – Smart Home Systems & Hotel Guestroom Control Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Project Engineer to join our growing team in the Paya Lebar/Tai Seng area. This full-time position plays a key role in the successful delivery of smart home automation and hotel guestroom control system projects across Singapore.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project coordination, technical implementation, system commissioning, and client support. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, hotel operators, homeowners, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in smart building technologies, home automation, hospitality technology solutions, and integrated control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate smart home and hotel guestroom control system projects from initiation to completion.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure successful implementation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, interior designers, architects, main contractors, and subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and progress reports.
• Plan and oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and post-handover stages.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out according to project specifications and safety requirements.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery schedules for project materials and equipment.
• Provide technical training and system demonstrations to clients and end users.
• Support maintenance activities and after-sales service when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Non-Diploma/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline in similar industry
• Any experience in smart home automation, building automation, ELV systems, guestroom management systems (GRMS), lighting control, AV systems, networking, or hospitality technology solutions
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Good project management, planning, and coordination skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project documentation.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP-based systems, and control platforms will be an advantage.
• Experience within the Singapore construction, hospitality, or smart home industry is also preferred.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
