Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure across production, DR, and non-production environments.
- Perform storage provisioning, capacity management, performance tuning, replication management, and lifecycle planning.
- Lead storage hardware and software upgrades, firmware updates, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Manage SAN environments, storage networking, zoning, multipathing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Support business-critical insurance applications requiring high availability and stringent recovery objectives.
- Design and implement storage replication, backup integration, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor storage utilization, performance metrics, trends, and proactively address capacity or performance risks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, virtualization, cloud, and security teams during projects and operational activities.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements related to data retention, protection, security, and operational resilience.
- Develop and maintain storage architecture documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and technical standards.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior infrastructure engineers.
