Job Responsibilities – Backend Developer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side solutions.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, and teams to deliver software solutions.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Monitor system performance and optimize application efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills

• Experience with backend technologies such as PHP (Laravel), Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Strong knowledge of database design and SQL.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
