Role Description This is a full-time Computer Science Intern role based in Shah Alam, offered on a hybrid arrangement that combines on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components that support Travel X’s AI-integrated travel solutions. Day-to-day tasks may include writing and debugging code, documenting technical specifications, performing data analysis, and supporting integration of APIs and internal tools. The intern will collaborate with developers, data specialists, and business teams to improve system performance and user experience. The role also involves participating in team meetings, sharing progress updates, and contributing ideas to enhance workflows and product features.
Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Informatics, with an understanding of core concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Programming and Software Development skills, including experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Shah Alam, with reliability in managing time and tasks both on-site and remotely.
• Exposure to AI, data analytics, or web technologies is an advantage but not required.
