Role Description

This is a full-time Web Developer role based in WP Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Web Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications that power ROVA’s QR ordering ecosystem, including customer, cashier, and kitchen-facing interfaces. Daily responsibilities include implementing responsive front-end features, developing robust back-end services and APIs, optimizing performance and reliability, and ensuring seamless integration across all web apps. The role involves collaborating closely with product, design, and customer support teams to refine requirements, resolve technical issues, and ship incremental improvements. The Web Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong Web Development and Programming skills, with experience building production-grade web applications.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive UI implementation and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including API design, data handling, and integration with cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and to participate in constructive code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced product environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in restaurant/F&B tech or real-time systems is an advantage but not required.
