Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Developer / Engineer based in Singapore River, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Software Developer / Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and applications that support the company’s infrastructure solutions. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented designs, integrating APIs and databases, and troubleshooting and resolving software defects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions. The successful candidate will also help optimize system performance, ensure secure and reliable deployments, and support ongoing improvements to the development workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar).
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply design patterns effectively.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks, debugging tools, and performance optimization techniques is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with team members, and manage time and priorities independently.
