Role Overview

We are looking for a Risk & Data Analyst to support a new financial technology business line. The role will focus on data monitoring, calculation, risk exposure tracking, performance reporting and management analysis.

This is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior candidate who is strong with numbers, careful with data, and interested to learn about financial markets, risk management and digital finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and prepare regular monitoring reports.
• Calculate performance, return, exposure, utilisation and other risk indicators.
• Track market data, business metrics and abnormal movements.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Support risk threshold monitoring and exception reporting.
• Maintain calculation worksheets, data records and supporting documents.
• Assist in reviewing new business opportunities from a data and risk perspective.
• Support dashboard development and process improvement.
• Escalate unusual trends, errors or data discrepancies to management.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Basic Python, SQL, Power BI or data dashboard skills will be an advantage.
• Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Able to work with data, reports and calculations independently.
• Good written English for reporting purposes.
• Interest in financial technology, financial markets or digital finance is an advantage.
