Job Description

Responsibilities

Maltem Asia is currently seeking an Application Support Analyst for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.


About the Role

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications and ensuring their optimal performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Production Systems: Continuously monitor the health and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Document incidents and their resolutions.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze application performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system performance.
  • Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of new releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application support procedures, incident resolutions, and system configurations.
  • User Support: Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and issues related to production applications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of application support.


Skillet Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application support or development in:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Unix
  • Java
  • AWS
  • Datadog
  • CICD Pipelines
  • Git
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Agile, fast learner, and able to adapt to changes.
  • Good team player, with strong analytical skill and enjoy complex problem solving.
  • Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation methodology and/or Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
