Full Time PHP Developer Jobs, in Zchwantech Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are seeking a passionate PHP Developer with a growth mindset to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and web applications end-to-end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, and have opportunities to explore other backend technologies such as Java (Spring Boot) and cloud platforms (AWS).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP (Laravel or related MVC frameworks).
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirement analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product owners to deliver maintainable and high-quality solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and version control guidelines.
• Support production issue resolution and system improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including code reviews, automation, and documentation.
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel (or similar MVC frameworks).
• Strong understanding of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js or React) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Java (Spring Boot), Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Passionate about clean code, optimization, best practices, and continuous learning.
