Full Time Backend Developer (Junior) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in Digital Defense Solution Selangor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain business applications based on company requirements.
• Customize ERP or business platforms such as Odoo when required. Build integrations between internal systems, third-party applications, APIs, databases, and external platforms.
• Develop backend features, scripts, automation tools, reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements. Support product-related customization and coding tasks assigned by the company.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. Work with internal users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assist in data migration, data processing, import/export, and system configuration when needed. Maintain clean, structured, and well-documented code.
• Support testing, deployment, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment fixes Learn and apply secure coding practices in daily development work.
• Gradually support security architecture activities such as access control design, system hardening, secure integration practices, and application security reviews.

Qualification & Experience :

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in software development, application customization, system integration, or backend development.

Core Technical Skills :

• Hands-on experience in software development, application customization, system integration, or backend development.
• Good programming knowledge in at least one backend language such as Python, Node.js, PHP, Java, or similar.
• Familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, or similar. Able to work with APIs, RESTful services, JSON, webhooks, and system integration concepts.
• Familiar with Git or other version control tools.

Knowledge / Added Advantage :

Basic knowledge of Linux, cloud servers, deployment, Docker, or DevOps practices.

• Interest or basic understanding of cybersecurity, application security, access control, identity management, or secure coding.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure API design, authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, or security architecture would be an added advantage.
• Experience in data migration, data processing, data import/export, or system configuration would be an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
