Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications built on Java and Spring Boot technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in microservices architecture, DevOps practices, application performance optimization, and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilitie

• Lead, mentor, and guide development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices communication
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software design principles
• Develop and execute unit tests while supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, infrastructure, and performance-related issues
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
• Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and troubleshoot Linux/OpenShift environments
• Maintain code quality using SonarQube and other static code analysis tools
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading or mentoring software development teams.
• At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and JDBC.
• Extensive experience with:
• Spring Boot
• RESTful Web Services
• Microservices Architecture
• Microservices communication patterns
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with:
• OpenShift administration, commands, and troubleshooting
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Containerization and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as:
• Hibernate/JPA (preferred)
• MyBatis
• Strong Linux server administration and command-line troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube.
• Experience in application performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Python development (1+ year).
• Experience working with FICO Blaze or other Business Rules Engine (BRE) platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
