Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Control Engineer role based in Singapore. The Control Engineer will design, implement, and optimize control systems for ride and attraction equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include developing control algorithms, configuring PLCs and motion controllers, integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems, and supporting commissioning and testing activities. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving control-related issues, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The Control Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of control strategies, support lifecycle maintenance, and ensure compliance with relevant international and local standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in ride and show system control, including design, tuning, and optimization of control loops for complex systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills, including circuit design, control panel layout, and familiarity with industrial automation hardware.
• Candidates should possess robust Troubleshooting abilities for control systems, including root cause analysis and resolution of electrical and software issues.
• Candidates should possess Motion Control skills, including configuring servo drives, VFDs, and position control for dynamic ride systems.
• Candidates should possess Robotics-related skills, including integration of robotic components or mechanisms into automated attraction systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, and safety systems for machinery or rides is highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, work effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Comfort working in an on-site attraction or industrial environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability.
