Responsibilities

Job Description

1. Building operations and maintenance

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of thebuilding including electrical and mechanical facilities and all other matters related to the maintenance management of the building, ensuring the building’s systems operate effectively.
  • Manage all matters related to the maintenance management of the building to ensuresafety and efficiency.

2. Preventive maintenance and repairs

  • Recommend and implement preventive maintenance or repairs to minimise emergency breakdown of services.
  • Identify potential areas of improvement to enhance overall maintenance strategies.

3. Event and room setup

  • Oversee the setting up of room configuration for events, meetings and hearings, ensuring that configurations are completed accurately and on time when required.

4. Technical support and incident response

  • Provide technical support and attend to equipment breakdowns to maintain seamless operations.
  • Recommend and suggest preventive maintenance or repairs to minimise emergency breakdown of services.
  • Supervise and guide technicians in their daily duties, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and in alignment with established standards.
  • Support department in resolving technical problems efficiently to maintain uninterrupted service for users.

5. Safety and compliance

  • Ensure that all safety measures are followed to protect the building, its occupants, and facilities during technical operations.

6. Sustainability initiatives

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, such as optimizing equipment usage, identifying energy-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with sustainability practices.

7. Other duties

  • Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the OperationsManager or Assistant Manager to support overall department objectives.

Requirements

  • 5.5-day work week
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC certificate or above
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as a Technician
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skill sets
  • Highly motivated and hardworking with positive attitude
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good team player and able to work independently
