JOB MISSION

Operation Assistant motivates the team to deliver excellent customer service, upsell products, and support promotional activities to achieve sales targets. They handle customer enquiries and complaints, ensure good product displays, and assist with operational reports required by management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilities Maintenance: Covering general upkeep like carpentry, painting, fixing locks, clearing plumbing clogs, and ensuring public walkways are safe.
• Cooling & Refrigeration Servicing: Focusing heavily on routine servicing for plug-in chillers, freezers, air curtains, and wall-mounted AC units.
• Electrical Work & Troubleshooting: Handling basic repairs (switches, fuses, outlets) and maintaining daily logs, while knowing when to escalate major wiring faults to upper management.
• Emergency Response & Operational Support: This role requires flexibility, including after-hours standby support on a rotational basis to handle urgent breakdowns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM or equivalent education background.
• A minimum of 2 years in building maintenance or HVAC.
• Experience working in a retail or supermarket environment is considered a strong advantage.
• Possession of a relevant technical certificate, diploma, or wireman license is a highly valued asset.

JOB SUMMARY

Maintain general upkeep, repairs, and cooling, electrical, or facility servicing across branches to ensure safe, functional, and smooth operations.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Facilities maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
