Part Time Server - Storage Engineer Jobs, Salary up to SGD 7,000 in OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd - Maukerja

We are looking for a Server & Storage Engineer to deliver proactive monitoring, maintenance, vulnerability management, and operational support across our IT infrastructure environment.

Scope of Services

The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Server Management

Daily

• Monitoring and review of system logs (system, event, error, IDS/IPS) with alerting capabilities
• Notification of anomalies within 24 hours
• Vulnerability management, including patching, upgrades, and security fixes
• Daily updates of antivirus definitions and monitoring of security advisories

Weekly

• Conduct progress meetings covering task updates, privileged account activity, and vulnerability status

Monthly

• Software/hardware deployment and upgrades
• User account and access review with detailed reporting
• DNS records review and cleanup
• Patch deployment status reporting
• Database utilization and performance reporting
• Submission of monthly reports and meeting minutes

Quarterly

• Software/hardware upgrades

Annually

• Review and update SOPs, policies, runbooks, and security baselines
• Active Directory hardening review

2. Storage & Backup Management

Daily

• Health monitoring of storage and backup systems
• Performance monitoring and exception reporting
• Coordination of vulnerability patching with relevant platform teams

Weekly

• Progress meetings covering task status, access review, and vulnerabilities

Monthly

• Software/hardware upgrades
• Account and activity reviews
• Backup and restoration testing (monthly round-robin basis)
• Patch status reporting
• Monthly reporting and documentation

Quarterly

• Software/hardware upgrades
• Inventory audit of backup media
• Updates on new technology releases

Bi-Annually

• System performance and resource utilization reporting with optimization recommendations

Annually

• Review of SOPs, policies, and operational documentation with improvement recommendations
